Lisa is the sunshine and beaming happiness behind Sunshine Events. Having spent many years as a nurse in the cosmetic skincare industry, she understands wholeheartedly what women love and what is important to them. Lisa has always been extremely creative and complimented her career with creative hobbies on the side such as floristry and furniture restoration. Lisa found her passion for event styling many years ago, always hosting fun and beautifully styled, classy events of her own. She decided to turn that passion into a reality in 2020 when Sunshine Events was born. 

Since then it has been a complete whirlwind. What began as a passion project has turned into a full time career with a team of her own where Lisa lives out her passion daily, helping to create perfectly curated boutique events for her wonderful clients.

Jess Pateman

CO-FOUNDER + ACCOUNT MANAGER

Jess takes care of all things administrative and accounts. Having a background as a Chartered Accountant, with a flair for expression and creativity, she is always working hard behind the scenes to ensure that each event is executed to perfection. 

Jess is Lisa’s right hand woman, which combined, gives us the perfect mix of two generations blended together to style your special event.  

Jess’ favorite part of her day is the moment at a wedding where she might catch the bride's eye for that one special moment just after she’s married the man of her dreams, the bride couldn’t be happier and it’s written all over her face.
